Lollipop Ornaments

These cute little lollipop ornaments definitely add a fun twist to the regular holiday ornaments. Not only do they look really cute they are super easy to make. These lollipops can be made in the color of your choice to go with any holiday theme. These would also make a great package decoration to share with family and friends.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

Popsicle stick
White paint
colored paint
2 felt squares different colors
spray glue
ribbon
thin ribbon
hot glue

Step 1

To make Lollipop Ornaments you will first need to paint your Popsicle stick, first start with your base color of white. Once the white paint has dried you will need to paint strips of your alternating color on the Popsicle stick.
Step 2

While the Popsicle stick is drying you will need to begin working on your lollipop. Start by laying your dark color of felt flat on your work area. Lightly spray the felt with spray adhesive. Now lay the lighter color of spray adhesive on top of the first felt square. Cut a strip about a quarter of an inch wide down the length of your felt square, you will have plenty of felt left to make several lollipops.
Step 3

After you have cut your strip of felt you will need to spray the light color of the strip with spray adhesive. Now roll the felt into a spiral.
Step 4

Once the Popsicle stick is dry you will need to use a piece of thin ribbon to make a hanger. Just glue the ends of the ribbon to the top of the Popsicle stick with hot glue.
Step 5

Now you will need to use hot glue to attach the lollipop to the Popsicle stick. Make sure to glue the lollipop to the side of the popsicle stick with the ribbon hanger ends, this not only hides the ends it also adds a little support to the ornament.
Step 6

Once the lollipop is on the top of the lollipop stick adds a little ribbon under the lollipop that matches the lighter color of felt and hang your Lollipop Ornament with the hanger.
