Instructions

  1. How to Remove Printer Ink From Carpet

    • 1

If the ink is still wet, take a clean rag and gently dab the printer ink to soak up as much of it as possible without spreading it to clean sections of carpet.

    • 2

Pour a little bit of rubbing alcohol onto a clean rag and blot at the stain. With each blot, use a different part of the rag. This is to prevent spreading ink that can build up on the rag.

    • 3

If the rubbing alcohol does not remove all of the printer ink stain from the carpet, mix one part Oxy-Clean with one part rubbing alcohol in the small bucket.

    • 4

Wet a clean rag with the Oxy-Clean and rubbing alcohol solution and dab at the stain until it is gone. Use different parts of the rag as it becomes covered with ink.

    • 5

Once the printer ink stain is completely removed from the carpet, wash the section of carpet with clean water to get rid of any residue left from the cleaning solution. Be sure to dry the area with a dry rag.
