Things You'll Need:
- 28 Regular flat bottom cones
- 1 pkg of yellow or white cake mix
- 1 1/3 cup of water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 lg eggs
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- Your choice of frosting or make your own
- 1 cup of sprinkles
-
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. You will need enough muffin pans to accommodate 28 ice cream cones. Wrap a small piece of aluminum foil around the bottom of each con and stand them in the muffin pans.
-
Step 2
Place the cake mix, oil, eggs, water and vanilla extract in a bowl and blend with an electric mixer on low speed. Stop and scrape the sides and blend an additional 2 minutes on medium speed until well blended.
-
Step 3
Spoon about 1/4 cup of batter in each ice cream cone, do not fill more than half way. Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until cake springs back when lightly pressed. Let cool for 30 minutes. Remove foil from the bottom of each cone as you frost and decorate as desired.

on 12/18/2009 I saw something like this on Tyra, it is a lot less messy from the looks of it. Great pictures by the way.
