Tips & Warnings
Don't use vinegar, as it merely masks the odor for a short time.
Invest in a cleaning product specifically for pet urine, as regular carpet cleaners don't always target the organic compounds in pet urine that bond to your couch.
If a smell lingers, spray the stain with a foam cleaner and let it sink in before vacuuming.
If all else fails, hire a professional fabric cleaner. The company may have a special treatment for stubborn pet urine stains.
