Do you love Olive Garden's salad dressing? I have a recipe that is very similiar (I cannot tell them apart) and just as good as the original. I know I can't resist that great taste, turns a regular salad into a superb salad. Follow these simple directions to create your own salad dressing. I will also tell you how to create your own croutons. Does this Spark an idea?

Things You'll Need

  • 1/2 Cup White Vinegar
  • 1/3 Cup Water
  • 1/3 Cup Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Corn Syrup
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Tbsp Dry Pectin
  • 2 Tbsp Beaten Egg
  • 1 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 tsp Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp Dry Parsley
  • Pinch of Oregano
  • Pinch of Crushed Red Pepper

      Gather all of your ingredients together.

      Grate the parmesean cheese. You should have a very light and fluffy mix or to your liking.

      In a small bowl, beat one egg and measure out 2 Tablespoons from the egg mixture. In a larger bowl, place the egg mixture in this bowl with the 2 1/2 Tablespoons of grated parmesean cheese.

      Mix all your ingredients together in a bowl. Pour into a salad dressing bottle or jar. Pour over your nice green salad and Enjoy!

      Create you own Croutons

      To create your own croutons you will need to remove the two end slices of a loaf of bread and lightly butter them. Place in toaster oven to lightly toast. Once toasted, cut into small squares.

Tips & Warnings

  • Add breadsticks to the meal. You might enjoy the softer ones.
