Things You'll Need:
- Clear Shaped Cello bags 12" (Can be purchased online or at party supply stores) (2 bags per cone)
- Hot cocoa mix (I used it by the can) each cone uses ¾ cup
- Small clear rubber bands (2 per cone)
- Mini chocolate chips (1/4 cup per cone)
- Mini marshmallows (3/4 cup per cone)
- Red gumdrops (Red Dots work also) (1 per cone)
-
Step 1
I found for younger children, , measure the hot cocoa, marshmallows, and chocolate chips separately, ahead of time, then put aside. The child can then add the ingredients in as needed.
-
Step 2
Pour the hot cocoa mix in a cello bag. Shake down. Attach a rubber band close to the top of the hot chocolate mix, Trim the end of the bag approximately 1 inch above the rubber band.
-
Step 3
Put the cello bag with the cocoa mix in another bag. Flatten the top of the cocoa mix so it doesn't stick out. Layer the marshmallows on top of the cocoa mix. Layer the chocolate chips on top of the marshmallows. Put a red gumdrop or red dot on top of the chocolate chips.
-
Step 4
They are ready to give out as gifts... Enjoy...
