Things You'll Need:
- BBQ Sauce
- Pork Roast
- Root Beer (20oz)
-
Step 1
Turn your Crockpot to the low setting. Place the pork roast or pork tenderloin into the Crockpot.
-
Step 2
Cover the pork roast or tenderloin with the 20oz. bottle of root beer.Use which ever root beer you feel best. I have even used diet root beer with this to limit the sugar and has still come out great! Cook for 2-3 hours in this manner.
-
Step 3
The next step is to drain the majority of the root beer from the crock pot. Leave just a little root beer standing in with the pork.
-
Step 4
Now pull or cut apart the pork, into tiny shredded peices and cover with bar-b-que sauce. I use generic BBQ sauce most of the time, but you can use any you like, such as mesquite or brown sugar. Mix well. Continue to cook another two hours.
-
Step 5
Now scoop it onto plates or pile it onto buns and enjoy!
