Don't just write an email unless your financially unable to create and mail out Thank You letter note cards. Depending on how many people your thanking its still very affordable even if you have to make your own cards from scratch.

Whether writing graduation, wedding, business related thank you letters its important to make them look like you actually took the time to write a personal message and that its not a mass produced generic card.

  3. Step 3

Keep your Thank You message short and to the point but try to make it personal. Thank them for what they have done for you even its just as simple as attending an event. If its a wedding you might include a short story of your amazing honeymoon vacation at some exotic destination and include a photo of the trip. Its not necessary to give someone something in a Thank You letter but its a kind gesture and even if it takes you a little longer to send out the cards it will be well worth it. The next time you visit them you might be surprised to find your photo nicely framed in their house.
