How to fold an Origami Dollar Heart
Dollar bill origami is just as intricate and creative as origami made from paper, with designs ranging from spiders and sharks to cameras, and even a Star Wars Millennium Falcon. An origami dollar heart may not be quite as involved as the Millennium Falcon, but it does carry special meaning. Folding a heart from a dollar bill is a creative way to express your love to someone and impress them with your abilities.

Lay the dollar bill down on your surface, face up. Fold the top two corners down diagonally on top of themselves, side edges meeting the bottom edge.

Fold the bottom corners up on top of themselves making two triangles, and unfold them. Bring the sides of the triangles in to make an arrow.

Fold the bill in half, bringing the two arrows on top of each other. Fold the flat edge at the middle fold on top of itself a third of the way toward the pointed end. Unfold the middle fold, keeping the last fold you made intact, making a diamond.

Flip the bill over and fold the two points in the middle that are hanging over the edge back on top of themselves.

Flip the bill over to the side with the arrows. Fold the top layer of one of the arrows over on top of itself, lining the bottom edge up with the middle of the arrow. Place your finger in the pocket of the piece you just folded and press down on the crease in the middle, flattening the crease.

Fold the corner of the flattened piece up on top of itself, and place your finger inside the pocket, opening it slightly and flattening it. Repeat for the opposite corner giving you two flattened pockets. Repeat this process for the other three corners until you have eight flattened pockets in a circle.

Flip the bill over and fold one of the top layers over on top of itself to reveal the top of the heart.
