How to Make a Candy Bouquet with Lollipops

Use a bunch of pinwheel lollipops for a colorful candy bouquet.

Candy lollipop bouquets are made from lollipops, silk flowers, silk leaves and other floral embellishments. The tasty arrangements make a great alternative to traditional floral bouquets and can be custom made with sugar-free lollipops for diabetic gift recipients. You can make a large bouquet from pinwheel lollipops and large silk flower blooms for a birthday gift or make miniature candy bouquets with small lollipops and a miniature rosebud and hand the treats out as party favors at your next celebration.

  • Lollipops (9 to 10)
  • Scissors
  • Floral wire
  • Green floral tape
  • Rose buds or other silk flowers (about 6)
  • Silk leaves (8 to 10)

Instructions

    • 1

Cut the long sticks off the lollipops just underneath the ends of the candy wrapper. Cut 10-inch-long pieces of floral wire and coil one end of each wire around the stems of the lollipops.

    • 2

Trim the long stems from the rose buds, leaving about 1 inch of the stem.

    • 3

Cut 10-inch-long pieces of floral wire and make a hook from one end of each. Slide one flower into each hook, just underneath the rose bud and pinch the hook gently around the flower. Do not coil the wire around the stem.

    • 4

Wrap a piece of green floral tape around the stem of each flower to hide the floral wire. Continue wrapping the tape around the wire.

    • 5

Gather the lollipops in one hand and surround the candies with silk leaves. Insert the rose buds into the bouquet at random places to separate the lollipops somewhat. Trim any wire stems protruding from the bottom of the bouquet.

Tips & Warnings

  • When displaying the bouquet in a vase, fill the bottom, center of the vase with a little bit of floral foam and pour small candies all around the foam in the vase. Insert the wire ends of the bouquet into the green floral foam and tie a ribbon around the bouquet.

  • To display the bouquets with a vase, wrap the green floral tape around the entire base of the bouquet to hide the wires. Wrap one or two pieces of 1/2-inch-wide ribbon around the base and tie the ribbon in a bow.
