You will learn how to inexpensively remove pet urine and feces from your any carpet in your home.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • White Vinegar and Tap Water. Spray Bottle - any size. Paper towels. White washclothes or small towels.
  1. Step 1

In any size Spray Bottle, prepare a 50/50 solution of White Vinegar and Tap water.

  2. Step 2

To Clean Urine, absorb as much as possible with a paper towel by applying pressure to urine saturated area. For Feces, remove all you can from the carpet using a paper towel, pulling feces away from carpet. Do not apply pressure, you do not want to press or grind feces into carpet.

  3. Step 3

Using Spray Bottle, saturate soiled area with your 50/50 solution you have prepared. Using a small white towel or washcloth, start from outer part of stain and work inward, absorbing water/vinegar and urine or feces. Change area of wash cloth or towel often. Spray again, repeat absorbing stained area. Repeat this process until stain is gone.

  4. Step 4

Using another clean white washcloth or towel, apply pressure to cleaned area. Apply more pressure by standing on towel on cleaned area. Place clean dry towel on cleaned area and place a heavy item, such as a bowling ball on area.

Tips & Warnings
  • I have been able to remove many other stains using this same solution, such as kool aid, blood and .... yes dog vomit!!
  • This solution removes stains and odors better than anything I have ever purchased!
  • Never, ever use soaps on carpets. Soap acts as a magnet to dirt. Over time you will see that stain re-appear.
  • Spot check an inconspicuous area of carpet for color fasting.

on 7/27/2009 I just moved into a new house with white wall to wall throughout. I have been able to pull all old stains from all my carpet, most appear to be coffee stains.
