Short sheeting is one of the best ways to prank your friends because the short sheet is a simple prank. The prank is so simple that when it is described, it doesn't sound funny, but when you use this prank on your friends, it is almost always hilarious. The reason the prank is so funny is that short sheeting people makes it look like they are clumsy and can't even figure out how to get into bed!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

To prank your friends by short sheeting them, first you will need to gain access to his bedroom for five minutes or so when your friend is out of the room. If you are at a sleepover, you could tell your friend that you just need to run up to his or her room to grab something out of your bag.

  2. Step 2

Take the comforter or top blanket off of your friends bed and leave it on the ground for now.

  3. Step 3

If the top sheet on your friend's bed is tucked in, then un-tuck it all the way around even at the foot of the bed.

  4. Step 4

Pull the top sheet up and tuck it in at the head of the bed.

  5. Step 5

Fold the un-tucked end of the top-sheet up to where the top of the top sheet would normally go. In other words, you should fold the un-tucked end of the top sheet at about the middle of the bed so that the bottom edge of the sheet comes pretty close to the head of the bed.

  6. Step 6

Tuck in all of the remaining edges of the sheet and recover the bed with your friend's comforter or blanket.

  7. Step 7

The short sheet prank works because you have just made a pocket with the bottom at the middle of your friends bed. Now all you have to do is wait for your friend to try and get into the bed!
