Things You'll Need:
- 1-inch PVC pipe Hacksaw or PVC cutter Pencil Measuring tape Two 1-inch 90-degree PVC elbows Two 1-inch PVC tees Four 1-inch PVC end caps PVC primer PVC glue
-
Step 1
Determine the dimensions for your towel rack based on your towel size.
-
Step 2
Take your straight piece of PVC, measure and mark the base, legs and top of the towel rack. Cut with the hacksaw.
-
Step 3
Take one of the tees. Put primer in one side of the tee (not the part going up) and then glue. Do the same on the leg part. Put the two pieces together and hold for 20 seconds. Do the same on the other side.
-
Step 4
Take the tee (with legs). Prime and glue the other opening. Do the same for the piece that will go up. Put the two pieces together and hold for 20 seconds. Do the same on the other side.
-
Step 5
Take one of the legs and put primer and glue on the top of the long part that is going up. Do the same on the inside of the 90-degree elbows. Put the two pieces together. Make sure they are aligned so you will be able to attach the two legs together with a single bar.
-
Step 6
Prime and glue the 90-degree elbows. Prime and glue both ends of the pipe that will connect the two pieces. Put the first elbow together with the pipe, and do the same for the other side. Gently push down on the side to level it out.
-
Step 7
Prime and glue ends of base. Do the same for the end caps. Put them together.
