How to Make Raspberry Lemonade
Enjoy seasonal fruit during the summer with refreshing berry lemonade. Raspberry lemonade is easy to make and healthier than commercial drink mixes, especially if you limit the amount of sugar you add. Make fresh-squeezed lemonade for a party or barbecue, or just keep a pitcher in the refrigerator for your family to enjoy.

Things You'll Need
- 4 to 5 medium lemons
- Knife
- 1/2 cup raspberries, fresh or frozen
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Ice
- Juicer
- Pitcher
- Mortar and pestle or food processor

Wash and dry the lemons. Cut them in half.

Using a juicer, juice the lemons to get about 10 ounces of lemon juice.

Pour the lemon juice into a pitcher and add the sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved, then pour in the water and stir again.

Wash and drain the raspberries. Crush the berries using a mortar and pestle or puree them in a food processor.

Pour the crushed raspberries into the pitcher of lemonade and stir. Taste and add more lemon juice, water or sugar, depending on your preference.

Serve the raspberry lemonade over ice and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
Our family likes tart raspberry lemonade. This is the recipe that we enjoy the most. If you prefer lemonade that is not as tart, add extra water and sugar to taste.
