Raspberry lemonade is a wonderfully refreshing drink, especially on a hot summer day! Living in the south, we have many hot summer days on which to enjoy a refreshing glass of raspberry lemonade! The best raspberry lemonade is fresh squeezed, of course. Throw out your powdered mixes and learn how to make fresh squeezed raspberry lemonade in a flash. No experience necessary.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 4-5 medium lemons
  • 1/2 cup raspberries, fresh or frozen
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • Ice
  • Juicer
  • Pitcher
  • Mortar and pestle
  1. Step 1

    Gather your ingredients. You will also need a juicer, pitcher and a mortar and pestle.

    4-5 medium lemons
    4 cups water
    1/2 cup sugar
    Ice
    1/2 cup raspberries, fresh or frozen

  2. Step 2

    Wash and dry the lemons. Cut them in half.

  3. Step 3

    Using a juicer, juice the lemons to get the ten ounces of lemon juice needed for this recipe.

    Pour the lemon juice into the pitcher and add the sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Add the four cups of water and stir.

    Wash the raspberries. Place them in a mortar and pestle. Crush.

    Pour the crushed raspberries into the pitcher and stir.

    Serve the raspberry lemonade over ice and enjoy! For a special presentation, you might try adding a sprig of mint from your garden.

Tips & Warnings
  • Our family likes tart raspberry lemonade. This is the recipe that we enjoy the most. If you prefer lemonade that is not as tart, add extra water and sugar to taste.
