~~Measure the Area~~
Because central air conditioning units vary in size, you will need to measure the area that you want to fence in and make sure that the fencing is tall enough to conceal the unit. Also measure for the support beam and the area around the unit in which the landscape ties will sit around the air conditioner. Bring these measurements with you to the store as you will possibly be able to buy the landscape ties already cut.

~~Buy the Supplies ~~
Go to your local garden supply store and choose the type of fencing that you want to put around the unit. There are usually different styles of decorative fencing that you can pick from and two pieces should be enough unless you want to use three and make one of them an access panel. Next get your landscape ties, screws and support beam.

~~Assemble Your Air Condition Unit Fencing~~
Now that you have the right size fence, landscape ties, screwdriver, and screws you will need to measure and cut the ties to fit the area around the air conditioner as well as the support beam. Set the ties firmly into the ground around the unit. After you get the ties sitting firmly then hold the first piece of fence in place up to the landscape tie and attach it to the tie. Then hold your next piece of fence tight to the first one and attach them together with screws. If there are three pieces then you will need to attach the last one after this.
Now attach the support beam from the corner of the fence to the landscape tie and take a step back and enjoy the lovely view of your nicely, concealed air conditioner!
