1
Set the tone of the room by creating a wrestling ring mural on one wall. Paint a gray or black base (the mat) and then paint in the ropes and corners of the ring. Look at pictures of a wrestling ring and have an artistic friend help you depict it. Include blurry faces in the background to represent the crowd and your child's favorite wrestling association letters on the sides of the corner pads.

Carry the theme onto the bed and bedding. If your child has a bed with headboard posts, cover them in thick black pads you can make by encasing foam with black fabric. Older kids might enjoy some red or blue rope accents along the side of the bed (this would not be safe for younger children). Use plain blue or gray linens on the bed and sew big "WWE" letters onto the bedspread. Cut the letters out of felt and stitch them to the top of the blanket.

Provide some additional seating in the room with red or blue beanbag chairs. This offers a soft place to relax as well as to break falls from overzealous play with friends.

Tips & Warnings
Don't be surprised if your child get excited and wants to bounce on the bed and jump around the room while playing "wrestling." Make the furniture as safe as you can by covering sharp corners. Be sure to lay down some behavior rules as well.
