Almost everyone knows that baking soda can be used to freshen the refrigerator, but there are other use with baking soda also.

    The closet is another place to keep an opened box of baking soda. It will help to freshen stuffy, mildew areas. Just tear off the top of the box and set on a shelf or in the bottom corner of the closet.

    About once a month, pour baking soda down your kitchen drain to keep it odor free.

    After cutting onions, use baking soda and warm water to wash your hands, it will help to remove the smell.

    If you have a perspiration stain on clothing, mix a heaping tablespoon of baking soda with water to make a paste. Put the baking soda paste on the stain, let set for 1 hour then wash.

    To remove hair spray and oil from your hair brush, add a teaspoon of baking soda to your bathroom sink full of warm water. Let your brush soak for 3 minutes.

    To remove microwave stains, add three spoons of baking soda into one cup of water. Let the water boil at least two minutes. Remove the cup of water and wipe the inside of the microwave clean.
