How to Gift Wrap a CD
Wrapping up a CD for gift giving can be a great excuse to get creative. Use one standard sheet of letter-sized paper to gift wrap a CD. You can create a personalized design for wrapping or even print out a great design from an image you have on your computer. With a big bow to finish it off, the gift wrapped CD will look amazing.
Things You'll Need
- Letter-size sheet of paper
- Clear tape
- Markers or paint
- Picture or pattern on computer (optional)
- Graphics program (optional)
- Printer (optional)
- Bow or ribbon (optional)

Use markers or paints to decorate a letter-size piece of paper. Allow the decorations to dry completely before using the paper to gift wrap the CD.

Affix the folded sides with tape to the CD.

Fold edge C of the paper over the CD and affix with clear tape.

Fold edge D of the paper over the CD and tape it securely.

Turn your gift wrapped CD over to have the top side facing up.

Attach a bow to the top or wrap a ribbon around the gift wrapped CD and tie it in a bow on top.

Tips & Warnings
If you don't want to decorate the paper, you could even use plain white paper to gift wrap the CD and then just add a colorful bow or ribbon. Another idea is to find a pattern or image that you like on the Internet and download it or use an image on your hard drive. Open the image in a graphics program and resize it to fit on a 8.5 x 11-inch paper. Print the image onto regular letter-size paper and begin with Step 2 to wrap the CD.
