  • Upholstery cleaning solution, liquid laundry soap or liquid dish soap

      Take off the cushions and vacuum the sofa frame and cushions thoroughly to remove all dust and loose soil.

      Fill the reservoir of the steam cleaning machine with hot water.

      Add furniture cleaning solution. Liquid laundry soap or dish soap can be used instead of furniture cleaning solution. Add ¼ cup per gallon of water.

      Use the hand-held attachment on the steam cleaning machine to clean each of the cushions on top, bottom and sides.

      Go back over each cushion with the suction to remove as much of the water as possible.

      Turn the cushions over a few times so they dry completely on each side before placing them back on the sofa.

      Use the hand-held attachment on the steam cleaning machine to wash the sofa frame on all surfaces.

      Go back over the entire sofa to remove as much of the water as possible.

      Allow the sofa to dry completely before placing the cushions back on the frame.
