1. One of the easiest ways to get an engagement ring size is to find a ring that she occasionally wears. When she is not wearing the ring, take it to the jewelry store and get her engagement ring in that size. However, not every man has such an easy situation.

2. If she wears the ring everyday, find a window of opportunity when she is not wearing the ring (like when asleep or taking a shower) and trace the inside of the ring onto a piece of paper. Take the paper to the jeweler and they will be able to determine the size from your traced ring.

3. If your girlfriend is a heavy sleeper, wait until she is taking a nap and wrap a sting around her finger. Then measure the string to find her ring size.

4. Ask her friends or family members if they know her ring size. Parents may know from buying her a class ring, and her friends may have an idea because girls tend to trade and borrow everything. They will be willing to help you because engagements are very exciting!
