How to Make Homemade Foaming Hand Soap
Hand soap is one item you'll find at every sink in most households and, depending on the amount of people using it, refills can become very expensive. Making your own foaming hand soap not only saves you money, but it is also incredibly easy. Foaming hand soap can be made with any clear detergent, shampoo or body wash you have at home. Things You'll Need
- Empty foaming hand soap dispenser
- Clear liquid soap or detergent (shampoo, body wash, dishwashing liquid)
- Water

Wash and rinse the empty foaming hand soap dispenser. You can reuse an old hand soap dispenser or buy one at a store.

Add 3 tbsp. of the clear detergent or soap into the foaming hand soap dispenser.

Fill the foaming hand soap dispenser with water slowly to prevent the soap from bubbling up. If too many bubbles form, let the dispenser sit for a few minutes until the bubbles set. Continue to add water until the dispenser is filled.

Close the dispenser and gently move it around to mix the water and soap. Avoid shaking. Let the dispenser sit for a few minutes to let the bubbles settle.

Tips & Warnings
Add a squirt of glycerin to the soap for extra moisture.
Add essential oils to give the soap a stronger fragrance.
