How to Make a Onesie Bouquet
Onsies are a baby item that every new parent needs. They make a perfect gift for a baby shower. While practical, they can also be a bit boring. Make your onsie gift more special by creating a onesie bouquet. They are simple to make and are sure to be the hit at any new baby celebration!
Things You'll Need
- 5-pack of newborn or 0-3 month size onesies
- Small basket
- Silk flowers
- Tissue paper
- Ribbon
- Floral tape

1
Purchase a 5-pack of newborn onsies. The solid color ones are best. For a girl, choose white and pink onsies. For a boy, choose blue and white onsies, or all white.
-
2
Open the package and take out the onesies. To make the "roses," take each onesie and fasten the snaps at the bottom. Then, fold the sleeves in and roll it up from the side so that you have a long, thin tube. Fold the tube in half so that you have two rolled ends on top and the fold at the bottom.

3
Tape the onsie using floral tape. Floral tape will not leave sticky marks on the fabric. Start at the folded end of the onsie and tape it together. You should only need to loop the tape around once or twice.
-
4
Prepare the basket. Line it with pretty tissue paper. Save some paper to use as filler.
-
5
Place the folded end of the onsie in the basket, so that the rolled ends are sticking up. Then, fold the rolled ends down so that they give the appearance of roses.
-
6
Continue to fold and fill the basket with the onsies. Use wadded-up tissue paper in between the onsies to keep them standing upright.
-
7
Place silk flowers in between the onsies, or, for a boy, place some cute rubber balls or stuffed animals in between the onsies. Tie a ribbon on the handle and add a gift tag.

Tips & Warnings
Use rolled-up baby socks for tiny rosebuds in between the onsies.
