Instructions

Dip the clean cloth in the canister of saddle soap, and begin applying the soap to the baseball glove. Allow the soap to sit on the leather for a couple of minutes, and then begin rubbing it into the leather firmly until the soap has soaked into the leather.

    • 2

Rub a new coat of saddle soap into the baseball glove once a day until the leather is softened up. Apply the saddle soap in light coats to prevent cracking.

    • 3

Play catch with the glove daily to break it in and loosen up the leather. Place a baseball in the pocket of the glove each night during the breaking-in process to help it take the shape you want.
