Dirt and grime cling to the tiny cracks and crevices in a textured shower floor, making it difficult to keep clean. Retail cleaning solutions only manage to clean the surface and often leave a residue causing the soap scum and grunge to build up. Make your own cleaning solution using natural products and learn how to clean a textured shower floor using the guide below.

Things You'll Need

  • 1 part baking soda 1 part vinegar Old toothbrush
  • Pour the vinegar into a small bowl.

  • Add the baking soda to the vinegar and stir it quickly to form a thick paste. Never add the vinegar to the baking soda as it can cause a volcano-like effect.

  • Pour the paste onto the textured shower floor.

  • Allow the mixture to sit on the floor for 10 to 15 minutes.

  • Scrub the mixture into the textured floor using an old toothbrush until all the build up has been removed.

  • Rinse clean with warm water.
