How to Clean White Film From Glass
One of the most frustrating housekeeping dilemmas is that of cleaning a glass shower door with your favorite blue glass cleaner, then seeing white film and spots remain. This less-than-satisfactory look is a result of mineral deposits from hard water and soap film. Regular glass cleaners often cannot address this problem, but there are a couple of effective methods for cleaning film from glass that are not only reliable but very inexpensive. Things You'll Need
- Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Sponge or similar product White distilled vinegar 1-quart plastic bottle with trigger sprayer Paper towels

Wet and wring out the Magic Eraser Sponge and wipe down the problem glass. This process will leave a film on the glass if allowed to dry, but Step 3 will remove the film.

Fill a quart-size plastic spray bottle half full of white distilled vinegar and half full of water. Make sure that the bottle is clean because you want to avoid a possible chemical reaction with other chemicals that may have been in the bottle.

Spray the problem glass with the vinegar and water solution and wipe off the solution with paper towels.

Spray undiluted vinegar on any remaining spots and allow the vinegar a few minutes to work before drying and polishing the glass.

Use a squeegee to remove water and mineral deposits from the glass daily after showers.

Tips & Warnings
The vinegar solution makes an excellent cleaner for all solid surfaces in your bathroom and kitchen. This solution will also remove the mineral deposits on exterior glass left by rain.
Never mix chemicals; mixtures created can result in dangerous and even fatal results.
