- Prime Rib Rock salt Worcestershire powder Pepper Hammer

Spread a layer of rock salt on the bottom of the roasting pan.

Spray the prime rib with water. Apply Worcestershire powder and pepper as seasoning. The prime rib will be a little more salty from the rock salt, so adding pepper or garlic can help counter this effect.

Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.

Spread a generous amount of rock salt on the prime rib. Add salt, and then spray a little water. Repeat until all of the prime rib is covered.

Cook uncovered for twelve minutes per pound.

Remove the prime rib from the oven.

Crack the salt layer with hammer. Clean off all the salt

Cut the prime rib and serve.
