How to Clean Fabric Made With Polyurethane Foam

Polyurethane foam is used in items which include memory foam mattresses, children's furniture, and pillows. Fabric made with polyurethane foam is becoming increasingly popular and is a modern alternative to traditional fabrics. These fabrics stay fresh-looking with regular spot cleaning.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Microfiber cloth White vinegar Water Cotton towels
  1. Step 1

    Wipe down your polyurethane foam fabric with a microfiber cloth. Make sure all loose dirt and debris are removed.

  2. Step 2

    Create a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts tap water.

  3. Step 3

    Wipe down the fabric with a cotton cloth soaked in the solution. Allow the solution to rest on the fabric for thirty minutes. This will disinfect the fabric. Polyurethane foam will not absorb the solution.

  4. Step 4

    Rinse the fabric with warm water. Allow to air dry.

Tips & Warnings
  • Clean twice a year.
