Make the Best Blue Kamikaze
Make the Best Blue Kamikaze

Ever go to a bar and have a few shots of Kamikazes? I love the bitter sweet taste of this great party drink. I finally learned a great recipe to make my own pitchers for my friends and I to enjoy at home for a fraction of the cost and the peace of mind that comes with drinking at home and not having to worry about who is going to drive. These are great! I hope you enjoy them.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Drink shaker
  • Ice
  • Shot glass
  • Blue Curacao
  • Triple Sec
  • Citrus Vodka
  • Lime juice
  1. Step 1

You will start by placing a handful of ice into your drink shaker. If you do not own one any container with a good sealing lid will work.

  2. Step 2

Now you will want to add 1 oz. (1 shot glass) of Blue Curacao.

  3. Step 3

Then pour in 2 oz. (2 shot glasses) of Citrus Vodka. You can substitute with Pineapple Rum if you would rather. Still comes out yummy!!

  4. Step 4

Add in 1/2 oz. (half a shot glass) Triple Sec.

  5. Step 5

Finally add a dash of lime juice. I use a capful. About a teaspoon or so will be good.

  6. Step 6

Shake well and strain into shot glasses.

  7. Step 7

Sit back and enjoy your drinks responsibly.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can multiply the recipe to fill your needs.
  • Remember when making mixed drinks go with the less expensive bottles.
  • Never drink and drive!!!

on 2/28/2009 I would like to add to this- as a former bartender I often had requests to make this and I made it sometimes with fresh lime juice to push the shots- and boy did they sell :) Get 5 limes for a $1 when they are on sale and try 'em out :)
