No one gives unconditional love like your dog so celebrate by making her your special valentine on Valentine’s Day.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Dog
  • Treats
  • Love
  1. Step 1
Doesn't she make the perfect Dog Cupid for Valentine's Day?
Doesn't she make the perfect Dog Cupid for Valentine's Day?

CUPID-Does your precious pooch enjoy wearing clothing? Dress her up in a frilly dress and wings. Let her go about giving loved ones their Valentine’s Day treats. They will love receiving their cards from such a special messenger, and your dog will love all of the attention directed her way

  2. Step 2

TREATS-Don’t forget those special Valentine’s Day treats for your special canine valentine. Look for special carob or liver flavored treats at the local doggie bakery. You can also make special homemade dog treats and let her lick the spoon. Reminder: Chocolate is highly toxic to dogs so use carob in its place.

  3. Step 3

PARTY- Look for dog Valentine’s Day parties at your local pet store. For example, every year Petco throws a party for all of their canine friends where they can have their picture taken, sample special treats, and more. If your local pet store does not do this for your favorite valentine, consider throwing a party yourself for all of your pooch’s dog park friends.

  4. Step 4

LOVE-All your dog could ever really want is your love and attention. Make sure to spend a few extra minutes giving her all of the love and attention she needs.

Tips & Warnings
  • Chocolate is HIGHLY toxic to dogs and can kill them. Keep it out of their reach.
