How to Order Free White House Greetings
Did you know the White House has a greetings office? They can help you give a treasured gift of an official White House greeting signed by the President of the United States. These are available for milestones such as weddings, anniversaries, births, birthdays and other honorable events in any American Citizen's life.

Very Important: With the exception of wedding or birth congratulatory greetings all requests to the White House Greetings office should be made at least six [6] weeks before the event. Failure to adhere to this timeline may result in disappointment.

Greetings are available for the following events:
Anniversary celebrations of 50 years or more, Birthdays of individuals turning 80 years old or older, Eagle Boy Scout Award, Gold Girl Scout Award, top religious recognitions, weddings, births and other honorable events.

Information needed to order all but wedding and birth requests:
Be concise and to the point. Write a letter asking for the request and include the salutation designation [Mr., Mrs., Dr. etc.]name [s] of the recipient, the home mailing address along with a different mailing address if needed, the type of occasion as well as the date of the occasion. Make sure to include your own name along with telephone number in case there are questions.

Information needed to order wedding and birth requests:
For wedding greetings include the full married names of the couple, date of the wedding as well as a current mailing address.
For birth greetings include the full name of the baby, the full names of the parents and a current mailing address. Babies are to have been born within the past 12 months and requests are to be made AFTER the baby is born.

With the exception of weddings and births White House Greetings are sent out 10-14 days in advance of an event.

Adhere to the guidelines.
Send your request in advance.
For a gift; Have the greeting sent to you house, have it framed as a special keepsake of the event.
Not all requests are fulfilled. You have better chances if you follow the guidelines to the letter...
