Instructions

    • 1

Line at least one wall in the house with a large canvas, cardboard sheet or other surface that you can paint on. You could use the wall itself if you'd like to keep the graffiti as a permanent decoration. Cover the nearby walls and floors with plastic sheeting to protect them from stray paint.

    • 2

Stock all the art supplies you can find. Spray paint cans will likely be the most popular tools. Broad-tipped markers and paintbrushes can also be used. Get several different colors of paint and markers for maximum creativity.

    • 3

Decide in advance if you want to set content restrictions on what's going to be painted. Let your guests know prior to the party if you're allowing any profane or lewd graffiti painting. This is especially true if the party will include anyone of a younger age.

    • 4

Lay out all the art supplies, wait for the guests to arrive and let the artistic fun begin. Make sure everyone has adequate space to paint or draw on the wall. Try to avoid painting over someone else's graffiti art until there's little to no space left and you're all sure painting over other designs will add to the whole design.

    • 5

Observe your artwork once everyone is finished. You could determine whose graffiti was the most artistic and offer a prize. This could be as simple as a gift card, or you could give the person the whole canvas itself.

    • 6

Figure out what to do with the finished canvas after the party is over (if you didn't paint on the actual wall itself and didn't give it as a prize). You may choose to keep it in place or display it somewhere else for a unique decoration. You could also cut it up into pieces and let each of your guests go home with their own contribution to your graffiti party.

Tips & Warnings

  • Recommend that your guests wear cheap, old clothing to the party--something that they won't mind getting ink or paint on.
