Things You'll Need

  • Sponge
  • Paper towels
  • Laundry stain remover

Instructions

    • 1

      Dab the soiled area with a wet sponge until no more ink comes off the clothing and then allow the area to air dry.

      Spray hairspray on the ink stain.

      Place paper towels on either side of the stain; one on top and another underneath.

      Blot the area with extra paper towels until the stain is completely soaked out. Do not rub the area or it may become bigger.

      Apply laundry stain remover all over the area where the stain was.

    • 6

      Wash the article of clothing and air dry.

Tips & Warnings

  • Denatured alcohol may be used instead of hairspray by dabbing it on with cotton swabs. You will have to use many of them to keep from putting the ink back onto the clothing.
