Things You'll Need:
- 2 pieces of the same size fleece (2yds each)
- 4x4 piece of paper
- fabric scissors
- ruler or measuring tape
-
Step 1
Lay out both pieces of fleece together, one on top of the other. Even them up and then trim any excess/uneven edges. (it doesn't have to be perfect)
-
Step 2
Take your 4x4 piece of paper and lay it on one corner of the fleece. Cut around the paper through both layers of fleece. Continue to do this to each corner. (you can cut the 4x4 paper from any scrap paper you have lying around)
-
Step 3
After all the corners are cut, you are ready to cut the fringe. Cut through both layers of fleece. Make your fringe about 4 inches long and 1 inch wide. Do this along each side. (the fringe measurements don't have to be exact, just try to keep them around the same size)
-
Step 4
Once all the fringe is cut, begin tying the fringe together. You will tie the bottom layer fringe with the top layer fringe. (I prefer to tie double knots, but it isn't necessary)
-
Step 5
Now your blanket is done, cuddle up with a good book and enjoy!
