How to Remove Iron On Transfers
Iron-on transfers spice to a T-shirt or dress up a sports outfit, but they also can get old and damaged. Removing the transfers can be done in the same way they were put on: with an iron.

- Moderate
Instructions

1
Heat your iron to a setting appropriate for the material that the transfer is adhered to, such as a lower heat for polyesters and a higher heat for cotton. Do not use the steam function.
-
2
Place a piece of white paper or cloth -- preferably cotton, and beware of fabrics that will melt or scorch with the iron' s heat -- over the portion of the material that the transfer is adhered to. If the transfer is on a item of clothing, turn the clothing inside out so you can iron the fabric from the other side of the transfer.
-
3
Turn the material and cloth over so that the cloth is on the bottom with the transfer facing down. Iron the material for two to three minutes, continuously moving the iron. The transfer should adhere to the paper or cloth.
-
4
Slowly remove the item that held the transfer from the paper or cloth. Remove any remaining pieces on the item with tweezers.
