How to Clean Isotoner Gloves

Louise Harding

Isotoner gloves are consistently rated highly by consumer reviews. According to Good Housekeeping, “This mid-weight, casual glove excelled in all the tests.” Cleaning Isotoner gloves is any easy laundry project that you can accomplish quickly.

Allow for drying time when cleaning your gloves because you can't put the gloves in the dryer.

  1. Fill a basin or sink with cold water.

  2. Add enough mild detergent, such as Woolite, to create soap suds. Do not add any bleach products.

  3. Place the Isotoner gloves into the sudsy water and gently work the suds into the fabric. Turn the gloves inside out and repeat the cleaning process. Turn the gloves right-side out again.

  4. Rinse the gloves under clean, cold tap water and gently squeeze the water from the fabric. Do not wring out the gloves.

  5. Fold a towel in half and place it on a flat surface, such as the top of your washer or dryer. Lay the wet gloves flat on the towel to air dry; do not dry in the clothes dryer.
