Spicy Red Punch

Wanna make that drink that every kid or adult will love at your next dinner/cookout? I've got the perfect solution. This drink is so easy to make and so great that everyone will want the recipe. It's so good that it'll "make you wanna slap your momma" as the old adage says. I've been making this drink for years and finally decided to share my recipe when so many have asked for it. For adult only parties, you can even "spice it up" a little.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Tropical Punch Kool Aid
  • Bright & Early Orange Juice
  • Lemon Juice,
  • Ginger Ale
  • Sugar
  • Water
  1. Step 1

Container sizes may vary so I'll give a best estimate on the amount of ingredient per container size, but for directional purposes, we'll use a 1 gallon container. Pour 1/4 of the container size up with the ginger ale of your choice

  2. Step 2

Next, Put the Bright & Early Orange juice in, making the container half full now (1/4 the container size full of the juice.)

  3. Step 3

Place 1 Cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of tropical punch (kool-aid) into the mixture.

  4. Step 4

Fill the remainder of the container up with water but leave some room for the lemon juice. (careful not to completely fill the container as you may want to add more of another ingredient to suite your taste.)

  5. Step 5

Pour approximately 2-3 tablespoons of lemon juice in the mixture and mix away until everything is dissolved. Conduct a taste test to ensure everything suits your taste. If not, our more of the ingredient of your choice in to give it a stronger taste.

  6. Step 6

If you want to really spice this drink up, add even more lemon juice and chop up some plumbs and/or apples and place in the mixture. This will have your guess going crazy! Enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
  • it really depends on your taste and how much you're planning on making to determine the taste you are looking for. If you want a little punch, add more lemon juice, etc. so trial and error may do you some good. If your party is an "all adult party" spice it up even more with some gin or vodka.
