How to Eliminate Smelly Shoe Odor
Feet are bound to sweat when placed into a small, warm space such as the inside of a shoe for hours at a time. When the insides of your shoes become wet with perspiration, bacteria can thrive and cause the shoes to emit an unpleasant odor. If you have noticed that your shoes have begun to consistently smell, it's likely that you want to eliminate the odor as quickly as possible. Fortunately, there are multiple remedies for smelly shoes using products you may already have at home. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Allow the shoes to fully air out between wearings. Because the majority of shoe odor is caused by dampness, letting your shoes dry completely before putting them on again will greatly reduce the occurrence of unpleasant odors.

2
Sprinkle baking soda into the shoes and allow it to sit overnight. The baking soda will absorb moisture and odors inside the shoes and you can then dump the powder out before putting the shoes on the next morning. If you would rather not use loose powder in your shoes, you can take two old socks and fill each one with approximately 2 tbsp. of baking soda, then tie each sock into a knot and stuff them into the shoes overnight.
