How to Make a Body Wax Kit
Going to a spa to get a body wax can be quite expensive, and buying one from the store isn't very cheap either. Many people have no idea that they have all of the ingredients to create their own body wax kit at home that can last for months and once it's gone, they can simply create a new one. Things You'll Need
- 3 cups Brown sugar
- 6 tbsp Honey
- Freshly squeezed juice from an orange slice
- Popsicle stick or plastic spoon
- 50 Cotton strips (3 inches long, 1 1/2 inches thick)
- Aloe vera lotion

Pour your honey, sugar, and juice into a saucepan and heat until all of the sugar has dissolved.

Let the mixture cool and then pour it into a small plastic container that has a lid.

Place your container into a small box such as a shoebox with your popsicle stick (or plastic spoon), your cotton strips, and your aloe vera lotion.

Store your box in a cool, dry place.
Using Your Wax Kit

To use your wax kit, microwave the wax for about 30 seconds and remove. Let it sit until it's cool enough to touch.

Using your spoon or popsicle stick, place a small amount of the wax onto the area you wish to wax and smear it in the direction that your hair is growing.

Place a cotton strip on top of the wax and rub gently in order to get all hair attached.

In the direction of hair growth, quickly pull the strip off. You may use one cotton strip two to three times before having to use another. Once all hair has been removed, use aloe vera lotion on the areas to prevent redness or irritation.

Tips & Warnings
Test a small amount of the wax on an area of skin before using and wait 10 minutes. If redness or irritation occur, do not use this wax.
