I used this method to clean my 3-gallon refillable water jugs for my home water cooler. At first, I thought it was strange to use the popcorn kernels, but now that I have seen how it works, it makes perfect sense. A big thanks to whoever posted this because you have saved me a bundle of cash by not having to purchase the pre-filled water jugs, which are between $7-$12 a piece. Instead, I can clean them, and then take them to my local grocery store and fill them for $0.30 a gallon! Thanks again!!!
