The humble milkshake got its name from its milk content, but it's always been seen as a sweet treat. It is usually made with a combination of ice cream and syrup. A simple chocolate version combines all three of those ingredients.
Things You'll Need
- 1 cup ice cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp. chocolate syrup
- Whipped cream (optional)
In a blender, combine 1 cup of ice cream with 1/2 cup of milk and 2 tbsp. of chocolate syrup. The ice cream can be either vanilla or chocolate.
Blend on high for 30 seconds or until the mix is smooth and creamy.
Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream. Serve immediately.
