Things You'll Need:
- Baby food jar
- Raffia
- Brown acrylic paint
- Orange acrylic paint
- Black acrylic paint
- Pink acrylic paint
- White acrylic paint
- Clear acrylic spray sealer
- Sea sponge
- Paint brush
- Toothpick
- Fine line black permanent marker
- Scissors
- New pencil
- Vinegar and cotton ball

Step 1
Clean the surface of the baby food jar with vinegar, using a cotton ball.

Step 2
Sponge paint the entire outer surface of the baby food jar with the brown acrylic paint, using the sea sponge. Allow the paint to dry.

Step 3
Sponge paint over the brown paint with the orange acrylic paint, using the sea sponge. Allow the paint to dry.

Step 4
Paint a 1/4-inch triangle nose, centered on the front of the baby food jar pumpkin, using the black acrylic paint and a paint brush. Allow the paint to dry.

Step 5
Paint two 1/4-inch triangle eyes, even with the tip of the nose and spaced 1/4 inch apart on the baby food jar pumpkin, using the black acrylic paint and a paint brush. Allow the paint to dry.

Step 6
Paint two cheeks placed a 1/2 inch away from either side of the nose and slightly lower than the nose. Dip the eraser end of a new pencil in pink acrylic paint and dot on the baby food jar pumpkin. Allow the paint to dry.

Step 7
Paint highlights on the eyes and cheeks by dipping the tip of a toothpick in white paint and dotting. Allow the paint to dry.

Step 8
Draw a mouth on the baby food jar pumpkin using the fine line black permanent marker and making stitch lines.

Step 9
Outline the cheeks with the fine line black permanent marker using stitch lines.

Step 10
Spray the surface of the baby food jar pumpkin with the clear acrylic sealer. Allow to dry.

Step 11
Tie several strands of raffia around the neck of the baby food jar and knot. Trim the ends.
