make creepy ice for your Halloween punches

Halloween wouldn't be complete without the creepy foods and punches. Here you will learn how to create creepy ice to throw in your punch or guests' glasses!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Water
  • Gummy worms/bugs
  • Plastic glove (thoroughly washed)
  • Brain, heart, and hand molds
  • Freezer
  1. Step 1

To make a creepy hand to float in your next witch's brew:

Take a plastic glove and thoroughly wash it clean. You can put some gummy worms at the ends of each finger and then pour in some water, securing the end shut with a twisty tie. Set it upright inside the freezer where it will not leak and let set up for hours. Throw it in a cauldron and watch the guests squirm at the sight of the floating hand!!!

  2. Step 2

    Brain/hand/heart shaped ice:

Taking any of your molds, throw in some gummy bugs. Pour in water and let set up. For these molds you may also want to try freezing colored juices (as long as they go well with your punch). They will give more color to your molds and really turn heads!!!

  3. Step 3

    Floating bugs:

Take a regular ice cube tray and put a bug in each piece. Fill with water and freeze. Serve these to your guests individually. They'll be quite surprised!

Tips & Warnings
  • Add juice instead of water to keep your punches from diluting.
