How to Make Wedding Bouquets
Weddings are wonderful and joyous events, but they are also very expensive and can easily break the bank. Flowers are a traditional part of weddings, but when purchased from a florist they can get extremely expensive. 1
Select your wedding flowers. Take out your main or highlight flowers and arrange them in a clump however you would like them to appear. Wrap some floral tape around the stems. If the arrangement you're trying for is complex, use floral wire wrapped around the stems to hold the arrangement in place.

2
Get your filler together and set out an arrangement behind the main flowers. The filler typically extends half an inch higher than the main flowers. Once you're happy with the arrangement, tape the stems of the filler to the flower stems, then cut the ends of the stems so the filler is the same length as the main flowers.

Place the leaves behind the filler and arrange them as you see fit. The leaves are typically half an inch higher than the filler so all the elements have a cascading effect. Tape the stems to the rest of the bunch to keep everything in place. Trim the end of the stems so all the stems are even.

Take a piece of wide ribbon. Glue the end to the floral tape with a hot glue gun. Wrap the ribbon all the way down the stems, leaving only a inch or two of stem sticking out. This should cover up all the floral tape. When you get to the end, use the hot glue again and attach the end to the rest of the ribbon. Use a smaller ribbon, preferably in a different color, and glue a single strip around the center of the ribbon wrapped stems. Glue on rhinestones or other decorative pieces.

Wet some paper towels and wrap them around the flowers as well as the end of the stems. Place the flowers in a cool place, such as a fridge. When you are ready to use the flowers, simply remove the paper towels and hold your bouquet.
