Wash your family's socks knowing that their socks will remain paired throughout the laundry process. Place in each family member's sock drawer with safety pins still attached.

Tips & Warnings

  • Pin winter gloves together to stay with their mate for the entire laundry process, too.

  • Always watch children around sharp objects.

  • Instruct children that safety pins are not toys and should be treated with respect.

Here is the best solution. I have used a great product for years, called the Always Together Sock Clip. sockclip dot com Not only do I never lose a sock but they come out of the dryer already sorted and since they are different colors and we've assigned a color to each person we don't have to sort them anymore either. I've tried many clips and rings, etc. and these are by far the best and the best solution for no more missing or sorting socks.

Good idea! I have done this for years with my socks, unfortunately was never very successful in getting other family members to do it! Only thing I might add is that I usually pin my socks together at the heel and if safety pin curled end tends to pull through on loose weave socks, slip an old button on before pinning sock.
