on 8/8/2006 I bought my girlfriend a beautiful cast iron Japanese teapot and cup for our sixth anniversary, along with Woven Heart specialty green tea. There are lovely sets available at Holy Mountain Trading Company.

on 3/23/2006 My husband and I recently reached our sixth anniversary and I thought it would be extremely hard to find an iron gift at first, but it was not and I found many things I would love to receive from my husband. When he told me he had looked up your site for inspiration, and found some great ideas, I thought I would add the ideas I had for gifts for a husband to give to his wife!!
1. Cast Iron Fondue Pot - very in at the moment and the results taste fantastic, you could even make a chocolate fondue with strawberries to dip into it for your special night and really 'WOW' her with this romantic gesture!
2. Regarding the clothes iron issue I agree with Andi!!!But I did see a antique (Made of Iron) clothes iron that was used as a door stop, which I thought was a cute and humorous idea.
3. Wind Chime made with Iron and other charms etc. - I loved the piece I found and wind chimes are good feng shui and sound beautiful.
4. Iron garden statue or sculpture - what girl would not love this! You can find some great ones in garden centers and art gallery stores. Very unique and can be one a of a kind!
5. Wrought Iron candle stick holder - found in gift stores everywhere, a really easy gift to find, yet still very thoughtful.
6. One for the guys and the gift I gave to my husband - he loved it! A sizzling cast iron steak plate and two matching garlic prawn dishes. I promised years ago that I would cook my husband a special steak dinner ( as it is his favorite meal) each year on our anniversary and have not let him down yet! I cooked garlic prawns as a entre and an Asian sizzling steak for the main and he loved the fact that my gift had also created our romantic dinner. We all know the way to your man's heart is through his stomach!!
Hope you all like the ideas and hope you have a great sixth Anniversary as we did.

on 11/22/2005 Yes, you could buy her a clothes iron for an anniversary gift, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you like sleeping on the couch.
