Things You'll Need:
- Invitations
- Party Decorations
- Champagne
- Beverages
- Food
-
Step 1
Discuss potential dates with the bride and then with the rest of the wedding party.
-
Step 2
Try not to involve the bride in anything except choosing the date, venue and invite list.
-
Step 3
Tailor the party to fit the personality of the bride-to-be.
-
Step 4
Estimate costs ahead of time, and factor in food, cover charges, drinks and cab rides.
-
Step 5
Plan to serve some nonalcoholic beverages for those who don't drink alcohol.
-
Step 6
Arrange taxis or designated drivers if drinking alcohol is part of the evening's plans.
-
Step 7
Warn guests ahead of time if you plan something that might be offensive to some. Allow guests to back out gracefully if the party is not their cup of tea.

on 9/15/2009 I completely agree that the bride shouldn't have to do the planning for her own bachelorette party. The bride is stressed enough planning the wedding this should be her night to relax.
I had my bachelorette party at the Awesome 80s Prom in New York City. It is a interactive theater show at a huge NYC dance club that takes place in 1989. I didn't have to plan a thing, because they do it all for you. I planned the limo, dinner at Lips, and even sent invitations all through the Awesome 80s Prom. At the prom I got a special bachelorette sash that said 'Most Likely to be Married' and got to go on stage with the cast. I would highly, highly recommend having a bachelorette party at the 80s Prom.
