Those aluminum pots and pans don't have to have that cloudy look. Here's how to get them to shine.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Liquid Dish Soap
  • Steel Wool
  • Vinegar
  • Scouring Pad
  • 2-3 tablespoons lemon juices

Step1
Remove stains inside the cookware by boiling a solution of 2 to 3 tablespoons of lemon juice or vinegar and 1 quart water in the cookware for 10 to 15 minutes.
Step2
Rinse with warm water.
Step3
Rub the stained surface gently using a soapy scouring pad; rinse.
Step4
Polish aluminum by rubbing soapy steel wool very gently along the surface of the cookware. Be sure to move the steel wool in a back-and-forth motion, rather than circular motion, to give the aluminum a uniform appearance.

on 11/22/2005 Put the lemon peel in a blender with some water and then use the mash to lift out tough grease stains in the kitchen. The solution is safe. You save money. The municipal garbage system has less lemon peels. And the mash works as good as some high priced cleaning agents.
