A cosmopolitan is a fruity, refreshing drink. You might remember this cocktail made popular by Carrie Bradshaw from "Sex and the City." The following recipe serves one. Follow a few easy steps and you'll be sipping on a cranberry cocktail in no time.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • sugar
  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 1 oz. cranberry juice
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  • dash of Cointreau
  • lemon twist
  • Dash Of Cointreaux
  • Groceries
  • Ice
  • Lemon Twists
  • Sugars
  • Ice
  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Cocktail Strainer
  • Martini Glasses
  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 1 oz. cranberry juice
  • 1 oz. lime juice
  1. Step 1

    Wet the rim of a chilled cocktail glass with cranberry juice and dip it in granulated sugar.

  2. Step 2

    Put ice in a cocktail shaker.

  3. Step 3

    Add the vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice and Cointreau to the ice.

  4. Step 4

    Shake twice.

  5. Step 5

    Strain into the cocktail glass.

  6. Step 6

    Garnish with a lemon twist.

Tips & Warnings
  • Mixed drinks contain alcohol, so use moderation.
  • Never drink and drive.

on 6/2/2008 Way too much lime juice- it should only need a splash of lime (usually a wedge of a fresh lime is best). Use the fruit to rim the glass for the sugar if you are going to use sugar- but a cosmo should not need a sugared rim.
