Pastors provide invaluable services to us. They are there for life's greatest moments, responsible for joining us together in holy matrimony and baptizing our infants and small children. They are pillars of strength and support during life's difficult moments. They provide spiritual guidance to keep us afloat as we navigate these treacherous waters called life. So how would a pastor like you to show appreciation?

Show Pastor Appreciation

1. Browse the card section of your favorite store for an appropriate thank-you card. Be sure to add a personal note inside. Or choose a blank card in which to write your words of thanks. If you are aware of some of the pastor's hobbies or likes, be sure to also look for a card that shows that. For example, if your pastor has referenced Van Gogh in her sermon, find a card with a Van Gogh painting on the front.

2. Be sure to tell the pastor specifically what he did that was so meaningful to you and why.

3. Mail the card directly to the church or drop it off in person at the church office. Some churches even publish their pastor's home addresses or e-mail addresses.

4. Smile! You just made your pastor's day!
