How to Make the Cosmopolitan Drink

The Cosmopolitan is among the easiest drinks to make. The drink has been around for some time, but got a little more famous thanks to "Sex and the City." The main character mentioned it was her favorite drink, and the Cosmo became a trendy drink.

Things You'll Need

• 1-1/2 oz. vodka
• 3/4 oz. triple sec
• 3/4 oz. cranberry juice
• 1 oz. fresh lime juice
• Cocktail shaker
• Cocktail glass
• Strainer

Instructions

1. Fill the cocktail shaker half way full with ice cubes.

2. Add the ingredients in no particular order and shake well.

3. Strain the drink into a cocktail glass.

4. Garnish the drink with a wedge of lime.

Tips & Warnings

• Chill the cocktail glass prior to serving.

• Always know your limits when alcohol is concerned.

• NEVER DRINK and DRIVE.
